Sept 2017 - FEWS Science Meeting

Washington DC - Climate Engine attended the Famine Early Warning System (FEWS) Science meeting in Washington DC on September 6-8 2017.  

Team members Justin Huntington and Katherine Hegewisch  presented a talk to the FEWS science meeting.  

After the meeting, Katherine Hegewisch hosted a 1.5 hr workshop to African FEWS field scientists on using Climate Engine. Workshop materials included:

  • a short overview of Climate Engine
  • a hands-on tutorial of Climate Engine focussed on Africa drought
